You're invited to celebrate music, pride, and community at True Colors, YPCC’s biggest concert and fundraising event of the season! Join YPCC on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 8:30 p.m. for an evening of vibrant performances, special guests, and an atmosphere of inclusivity and joy. This exciting event will feature Sapphira Cristál as the headliner. Sapphira (runner-up and Miss Congeniality of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 16) is a classically trained opera singer, composer, and drag queen known for her theatrical lip syncs and six-octave range. She is renowned as a charismatic host who forges a special connection with her audiences.
YPCC’s founder and past conductor, KellyAnn Nelson, returns for a heartfelt homecoming, leading a special YPCC Reunion Choir in a meaningful performance.
We are also honored to welcome award-winning transgender Mexican-American composer Mari Esabel Valverde, whose work, supported by the Pride Grant from ArtsWave, will be showcased at the gala. Strengthening the intersection of music and LGBTQIA+ pride, YPCC is thrilled to partner with Cincinnati Pride to ensure our music-making remains a space where everyone feels valued and represented.
Gala Evening Schedule
Join us for an unforgettable night of music, glamor, and celebration! Here's your guide to the evening’s events:
6:00 PM - Doors Open & Dinner
The evening begins with a delicious dinner, exclusively for VIP, Platinum, and Gold ticket holders. Arrive early to enjoy fine dining, mingle with fellow supporters of YPCC, and soak in the elegant ambiance that sets the tone for the night.
While you dine, don’t miss these fabulous experiences:
Silent Auction: Browse and bid on unique items and experiences during dinner and the cabaret.
Bottle Pull: Available first come, first served! Buy a ticket and choose a wrapped bottle of alcohol—you might walk away with a fun bottle or a fabulous one (or even four!).
Photo Booth: Snap some fun, fabulous selfies to remember the night! Open during dinner, cabaret, and the after party.
6:30 PM - Cabaret Show (During Dinner)
While dinner is being served, enjoy the Cabaret Show, open to VIP, Platinum, and Gold ticket holders. Hosted by the ever-glamorous Penny Tration, this lively and intimate performance features YPCC singers bringing flair, fun, and vocal brilliance to the stage.
The Silent Auction, Bottle Pull, and Photo Booth remain open—keep the bids, bottles, and snapshots coming!
8:30 PM - Gala Concert ft. Sapphira Cristál
At 8:30 PM, the celebration opens to all ticket holders for the spectacular Gala Concert, headlined by the show-stopping Sapphira Cristál (RuPaul’s Drag Race, Season 16).
The YPCC choir will move and inspire with wonderful choral songs, including "Born This Way", "True Colors", and "The Road Home" —songs that speak to the heart of identity, community, and joy.
A special reunion performance will also feature the YPCC Reunion Choir, conducted by KellyAnn Nelson, YPCC’s founder and first artistic leader.
Drinks are available for purchase before the concert, and at intermission.
10:30 PM - After Party: Desserts, Drinks & Dancing
The night isn’t over yet! At 10:30 PM, VIP, Platinum, Gold, and Silver ticket holders are invited to our exclusive After Party. Celebrate with decadent desserts, festive drinks, and dancing to live music by the high-energy band Vehicle.
And don’t forget to hit the Photo Booth one more time—because no night this fun should go undocumented!
